Bridges are symbols of connections, of transitions, but also of boundaries. As a Hispanic immigrant in a time when many question the rights and the value of people of color, non-Christians, and the LGBTQ community in the United States, I explore graffiti under a bridge as a symbol of the creativity that emerges in the “margins” of society.
